  • Tillie you are right on. When I was growing up I was 5'9" as an 8th grade female. I was taller than everybody... lol especially the guys. Now, with a younger generation behind me... they are taller than I am. Six-foot women are not unusual.

  • Just interested, Imasure... Are you referring to Giles Corey, who was pressed to death (by stones some say) because he would not admit he was a witch? Being a witch was in violation of his faith, if one can accept there was a day and age when literal witches were believed to exist.
